The Spiritual Journey
Ode to the Soul
Reflections on the Spiritual Journey: It isn’t one size fits all.
The world we live in can shake us to our core, and it can be difficult sometimes to see the way. It is easy to view ourselves as separate from everything, and even easier to desire a life different than our own. We are all here for our own purpose and in relation to the collective embodiment of love. We all strive for a new beginning. We all inherently hold the key to enteral love. The path we choose derives from the choices we make and the experiences we’ve had. Sometimes the hardest path is the one we see furthest from us.
However, the one we see furthest is still the one we see. In the dark, like a moth to a flame, we see the light, the path that is there for us. We all move forward in hopes of a new day, and for many of us, we become aware of things others cannot see. No one path is the same, and no one’s journey is identical, but we all move forward with the hopes of a new day. The love within is always available to us. We find it hard to love ourselves sometimes, to love others as they are sometimes.
The path of spiritual enlightenment is one that is filled with self-disclosure and outer awareness. We begin to see those around us more deeply, we begin to understand more of life as it pertains to us and all around us. The Journey brings forward all we pretended not to see, and all we ignored internally and externally. As you garner peace with the love that is light, you understand that life is more than the present and that there is more to give than what has been received. In all of our journeys, in all of our beliefs, we walk a path of spiritual truth, and we find ourselves in a place we call home.
For me, God is my home, my heart, and my soul. Look at yourself, see you. Love yourself, Unconditionally. Love those around you, as they are. Be truthful to the goodness inside you. You always truly know what feels right to you. Recognize the strength you have to discern, understand, and love from the depth of your soul. The passage of time is just that, and the path we forge is the echo we leave behind.
